Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Neel Kiran Sales, we deal in security products like safes and safe-related solutions where product condition, handling, and installation compatibility matter a lot. Because these are heavy, high-value, and security-sensitive items, returns and refunds are governed by stricter checks than regular retail products.

1) Order Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Before Dispatch
- Orders can be cancelled only before dispatch.

Cancellation After Dispatch
- Once the order has been dispatched, cancellation is not possible.
- This is because heavy shipments get assigned to logistics movement and secure handling processes.
2) Return & Refund Policy (Important)
No Return on Non-Defective Products
Due to the nature of security items, we do not accept returns for reasons such as:
- Change of mind
- Wrong selection by customer (capacity/size/lock type chosen incorrectly)
- Aesthetic preference after delivery
- Delivery delays caused by external logistics factors
- “Ordered by mistake” after dispatch
We strongly recommend confirming product specifications before ordering. If you are unsure, our Rajasthan team can guide you on selection.
3) When Return / Replacement May Be Considered
Return or replacement may be considered only in the following cases (subject to verification):
A) Transit Damage (Verified)
If the product is damaged during delivery or shows visible breakage due to transit.
B) Wrong Product Delivered
If the delivered product does not match the order details (model/size/category mismatch).
C) Manufacturing Defect (Verified)
If the product has a functional defect that is confirmed by our team or authorised support process.
Note: Minor scratches, packaging dents, or cosmetic marks that do not affect function may not qualify as defects, especially for heavy goods handled in transit. We still advise reporting everything quickly so we can evaluate properly.
4) Reporting Timeline (Strict)
To request return/replacement support:
- You must notify us within 24 hours of delivery for:
1) Transit damage
2) Wrong product delivered - You must notify us within 48-72 hours of delivery for:
1) Functional issue noticed at first use (where applicable)

5) Approval & Pickup Process
- Every request is subject to verification and approval by Neel Kiran Sales.
- If approved:
1) We may arrange a reverse pickup where available, OR
2) In locations where reverse pickup is not serviceable, you may be asked to send the product back as per our instructions.
Return Condition Requirement
If return pickup is approved, the product must be:
- Unused (where applicable), undamaged beyond the reported issue
- Packed securely (preferably in original packing)
- With invoice and labels (if provided)
6) Refunds (If Approved)
Refunds are processed only if:
- The return is approved, and
- The product passes inspection after it is received back (or defect/wrong item is verified as per our process)
Refund Timeline
- After confirmation, refunds are typically initiated within 3-7 working days
- Final credit timelines may depend on the payment provider/bank and can take additional working days
Refund Mode
- Refunds are issued to the original mode of payment only
- Cash refunds are not provided
7) Shipping & Handling Charges
- Shipping/handling charges (if applied) are generally non-refundable, unless:
1) Wrong product was delivered, OR
2) Transit damage is confirmed and approved, OR
3) Cancellation was approved before dispatch
For heavy shipments, any special handling charges (if applicable) may be non-refundable once dispatch is initiated.
8) COD Orders (If Offered)
If Cash on Delivery (COD) is offered on selected items:
- COD availability may vary by pin code and product type
- If a COD order is refused at delivery, the customer may be liable for forward shipping and return logistics cost, depending on the courier terms and product category
9) Failed Delivery / Customer Unavailable
If delivery fails due to:
- Incorrect address
- Repeated unavailability
- Refusal to accept delivery
- Incomplete delivery access (building restrictions not informed)
then re-delivery may require additional charges, and return/refund requests may not be accepted unless specifically approved.
10) Final Decision & Policy Updates
- Neel Kiran Sales reserves the right to take the final decision on return/refund cases based on verification and evidence.
